AHHHHH SUPER EARLY BLEACH SPOILERS WTF BUT OMG

Last night didn't go so well for me. I started getting a headache around 3ish and I wasn't paying attention and by 4pm I noticed that it hurt... BAD. I tried to go upstairs and go to sleep but the AC in my room had stopped working that morning. So I drug myself out to Kmart and bought a new one (100$ thankfully I had that)

I was practically in tears trying to install it. The light hurt, the heat hurt, my eyes and ears throbbed, my skin hurt...

Finally when it was all said and done I passed out on my bed. I woke up about 7...and while the sharp stabby-ness was better...the headache still remained. Water and food later, desperately trying not to throw up I managed to start feeling better around 9pm.

So this morning I'm avoiding the light and trying to keep cool and hydrated, but I haven't had one like this is a long time.

I've loved Full Moon ever since I found out about it in 6th grade *-* I've read the manga and seen the entire anime! I'm also a big fan of Arina Tanemura and her work! I love Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne and Shinshi Doumei Cross! :D

Anyway, I've been looking for some Full Moon furoku items, you know, those promo items that come with the shojo magazines?

Well, if anyone has any of these, I'd like to know if you're willing to trade for some of my stuff here. ^-^

Also, does anyone know how many chapters there are of Sakura Hime Kaden so far?
I'd appreciate it if someone told me! :)

MY POST HAS NO POINT

Just as a reminder, everyone, we do not tolerate character bashing in ichi_ruki. I know we all have our reasons why we like IchiRuki, but there are very many of us who enjoy IchiHime as well, or RenRukia or whatever. We do not need to resort to character bashing to make our pairing "better" or more likely. If you don't like a character that's your preference but unless you can talk about it in a calm, intelligent manner, it doesn't belong on this community. Everyone likes to be reassured that their pairing is "the one", but let's not do it at the expense of other characters who are well-liked by your fellow members. Discussions such as the one previous (which has been deleted) perhaps start out without the intention to character bash but quickly deteriorate and I apologize for not catching it earlier.

If you have any questions about what is, or is not, character bashing, feel free to come talk to me.

I remember from an early comment, Tanemura herself has stated that she got the title "Shinshi Doumei" from a song, and just added a cross at the end. I decided to look up the song and only found Yakushimaru Hiroko's Shinshi Doumei. Could this be the song? It sounds like something from the time Tanemura herself would listen to.

I have a baby tomato on my tomato plant.  This is exciting.  Also, my lavender is growing really well, which is surprising considering how wet the summer has been.  So, I must have done well with the amount of drainage gravel I used when planting them in their containers.  My basil was looking a bit worse for wear when I got back from vacation (I hadn't picked any of it in a long time and all the leaves were dead).  I thought it might have died, but I pruned it back and I've got new sprouts and leaves on it now.  All very exciting.  

Went to the lavender farm with Mama this morning to pick up some more lamb bratwursts.  Yum!  Having some garlic butter ones tonight.  Also picked up some artichoke-garlic tapenade and treated ourselves to a lavender chocolate chip cookie.  I didn't pick up any other lavender items today, though.  I'm loving my lavender body butter, though.  It's so yummy smelling and absolutely lovely on my skin.  Expensive, but made by the lady who owns the lavender farm.  So worth it.

^ Hinano's Pangya parody of Nursery Rhyme's opening theme, "True My Heart." XD All my plans for today ended up not happening (but it was for the better!) so I was able to be home by 11AM and join in for the group shots she needed to make the video. It's... too much of a hassle to point all out my characters' (I have Hana, Arin, Kooh, and Lucia) locations in every shot that happens to feature me, but the one I'm blatantly in is the Kooh shot @ 1:17, I'm the one at the very end on the left, a step or 2 in front of everybody else, dressed as a penguin. XD (My characters can usually be found at the very left in all the group shots where we're lining up.)

|D I want to make a Pangya video too, but I'm not talented/creative enough, nor do I have a full/registered version of Fraps (so watermark at top and :30 time limit. ._.).

Okay this is a legit art thing. I HAVE NO SCANNER, so I'm reduced to ~*shudder*~ drawing with the tablet, which is okay except everything comes out sketchy. And not in a shady, I will shank you way. But anyway, uh if anyone could tell me how to make these two line up better and not look like all... weird and shit, that would be awesome.

So last week I went into a book store looking for Notre Dame of Paris. After I bypass the two Twilight displays at the door and see the Twilight Display in the back (complete with Twilight Lunchbox), I go looking for "Hugo" in the Literature section. Nothing. So I ask the lady at the desk if they had Notre Dame of Paris or Hunchback of Notre Dame. The response I got, after she looked it up, was that they didn't stock it because it didn't sell well, 'but check the library.'

Pissed but ultimately deciding against posting about this since Twilight rants are no longer en vogue, I forget about the incident up until five minutes ago when amazon posted the summary of the next book in a series of which the author was recently paid upwards of $3,000,000 for:

Bartz's voice is deeper than I thought it would be. That's the only impression I was able to get.

Oh, and I think Doug Erholtz is voicing Squall.

What's the point of the trailer if you can't even hear the freaking voices?! American fans care about voice actors, too ;_;

kay, I think this first one is a little lame but I work hard on it too. I liked how Ichigo came out, but Rukia seems a bit off in my opinion.

So I got my Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai seifuku tonight! It's absolutely lovely! *__*

Except of course... I asked for a large since I remember the Chii seifuku I got last year was a small, and while it fits my width, the skirt/dress part is kind of too short and it becomes an issue of me panty-flashing people if I raise my warms way up high. Yeah. So, this is a nice one piece, ne? I'll get a large to make sure the dress part comes down to my knees!

T__T Well, it's mostly a once-piece. There's a black skirt that goes along with it, that you kind of wear under the dress to get the black frilly part at the bottom. ROFLOL, I have the thing zipped all the way up and velcro'd, and there's no way in heck that's even close to fitting my waist. Frick, I might have been saved if it had belt loops. :/ I will never be close to being that wide in my life, maybe perhaps only if I was pregnant.

And then there's the dress. At first I was like *___* but then I tried the thing on and... nihaha, well, it *is* a large and I'm kind of a small, a size 00. But that's alright. I look down.

...Now, see, I got a large for the sole purpose of avoiding the problem of the outfit not fitting my height. So can somebody tell me why this thing appears to be so dangerously short? Eff. THAT WAS MY MAIN CONCERN, EVEN IF IT'S TOO BIG FOR MY WIDTH, LET IT FIT MY HEIGHT.

*sigh* I don't think I can wear this. I took out the Chii cosplay from NYAF 2008 and compared the shortness and it's THE SAME FRIGGING SIZE, despite Chii's being a small and the Oretsuba uniform being a large. The only thing large about it is the width. :/ I might as well had just gotten a small, lol, it'd still be just as short but at least it'd be better fitting for my upper body.

*sigh* I don't think I can wear this... *upset* I frigging hate being super skinny/underweight but being average height-ed for a girl (in this country). This would not be as much of a problem if I was a couple of inches shorter. (I'm 5'5".)

I'll probably bring it with me and wear it just to take pictures for posterity though, lol.

For AX this year, my little sister lilhowlet cosplayed as Prussia from Hetalia and got her two friends to cosplay as Spain (bakaren) and France (who doesn't have an LJ). Going to con with them, I had lots of opportunities to take their picture and pictures of the other Hetalia cosplayers who drew to them via magnetic global attraction.

It's possible this is photoshoped or the ghost of Prussia was caught on film. Gasp!
